YMCA Youth basketball seasons include one practice and one game per week.
Practice Details:
- Practice is once a week for one hour.
- All necessary basketball equipment will be provided during practices and games.
- Participants will receive the Saturday game schedule at their first practice.
What to Bring:
- Water bottle (labeled if possible)
- Small towel (optional, for sweat)
What to Wear:
- Basketball or athletic shoes (sneakers only)
- Basketball shorts or sweatpants
No flip-flops, Crocs, slides, or rain boots.
Players wearing improper footwear will, unfortunately, not be allowed to participate in practice or games.
Uniforms:
- Players will receive a reversible jersey.

No experience needed – the YMCA provides training and ongoing support.
