Setup Instructions
You will receive two activation emails to set up your accounts:
- YMCA of Silicon Valley PRO app (powered by Fisikal) – Class Schedules and member registration/communication
- “New Account Information” This activation email is coming from noreply@ymcasv.org.
- NetGym app – Sub request communication and scheduling
- "Activate your YMCA SV & NetGym account" This activation email is coming from noreply@NetGym.com.
These emails may first end up in a junk/spam folder. Please add noreply@ymcasv.org and noreply@netgym.com to your safe senders list, address book and/or contact list with your email provider. If you still haven’t received anything, please contact your supervisor to ensure we have your correct email on file.
Once you receive the activation emails, please follow the instructions in each to update your profile, select preferences for notifications, download the associated apps, and watch the tutorial videos. NOTE: The PRO app is a private app and not searchable to download from the app stores. Please only download the apps with the links provided below.

Group Exercise Instructor Tutorial Videos:
PRO App - Profile Settings:
- In the PRO App (Fisikal) Settings for My Profile, please do not edit the Title (blank) or Name (First Name, Last Initial) fields.
- Do not modify name by adding full last name. (Association policy is to only provide First Name and Last Initial when displaying staff names to members.)
- Do not add to the TITLE field. This is intended for a salutation title such as Mr/Ms/Mrs/Dr/etc. Do not add a job title. This field should remain blank.

Sub Policy Reminders:
- Once the sub request is accepted, the Healthy Living Director/Coordinator will be approving the sub for the class. If you are approved to sub and can no longer teach, you can reopen the sub request. Once approved, the live schedule will be instantly updated with the sub.
- Sub requests will be sent to those that are eligible to teach the class - no personal invites.
- Sub requests can be entered for the current month and 3 additional months. Instructors cannot send sub requests within 12 hours of the start time of the class.
- If you need to send sub requests outside of the sub policy window, please speak to your supervisor to create a sub request on your behalf.

- If you teach at another gym/studio that uses NetGym or are using multiple NetGym accounts, you still have to activate your profile with us/each account. Once logged in, you can easily switch between the multiple accounts by following the instructions here.
