All refund request need approval before they are processed. Refund requests can be sent to YDsupport@ymcasv.org for consideration.
Family Camp Cancelation/Refund Policy
- Cancelations have to be received at least 30 days before the camp start date, in order to receive a refund minus a 25% deposit fee.
- Cancelations received less than 30 days before the camp start date will not be receiving a refund.
- Exceptions: A full refund can be considered for the following reasons AND the request will have to be emailed to YDsupport for approval:
- Medical Reason - a doctor's note must be provided and medical condition has to be during the camp period. For example, if a doctor's note says that the participant is not able to participate in activities from 4/1-4/5, but the camp starts on 4/30, the doctor's note is not eligible for refund consideration.
- If one of the family member was not cleared off the waitlist, but the other family members were able to get a spot, they may be eligible for refund.
Family Camp Change/Transfer Policy
- Changes can be made up to 48 hours prior to the camp start date if there is space available.

Changes include transferring to another family camp or changing participants.
- If space is not available, the participant will have to stay in the current camp or cancel the camp. Cancelation policy applicable here.
- If changing the camp participant, any applicable forms must be submitted and approved before the camp starts. If the forms are not submitted and approved by the first day of camp, they will not be able to attend camp. Cancelation policy applicable here.
- The camp payment is transferable as long as they are switching to a different Family Camp within the same year.
- Yes to Transfer: from one family to another family camp in the same year.
- NO to Transfer: from a family camp to overnight summer camp or summer day camp or any other different program.
